I have forgotten my login and/or my password. How do I retrieve this information?
The ImprovingMIPractices usernames are chosen by you during your initial sign-up, but the site highly recommends using your full email address as the login, and the selection of a secure password. Here are two tips related to remembering your login:
- Usernames (usually your email address) have to be all lowercase, and without spaces. So, even if your email address is generally written as Sam.Spicer@theeaton.org, your login would be firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Website passwords are HIPAA-compliant, requiring at least 8 characters, including at least 1 digit(s), at least 1 lower case letter(s), at least 1 upper case letter(s), at least 1 non-alphanumeric character(s).
Because this is a server-generated email, some spam filters might categorize this message in your junk mail folder. If you do not receive the password reset message in your Inbox or your spam folder after 5 minutes after resetting, you may want to contact your on-site IT support, or use our live chat system to the right.
