Understanding Occupational Safety

This course provides an overview of MiOSHA regulations for a variety of work environments and provides information regarding infection disease prevalence and the common type of pathogens and diseases various professionals may be exposed to. 

Understanding the Chain of Infection and Prevention

This course provides the participants with scientific information regarding how infections start and can spread from one party to another. This section will also cover evidence-based best practices for preventing infection and the spread of bloodborne pathogens through proper safety and practice measures.  

Emergency Situations and Safety Precautions

Participants of this course will learn how to react in emergency situations that involve infectious diseases or bloodborne pathogens. The course experts will also provide specific recommended safety precautions to avoid an emergency situation.
