Setting S.M.A.R.T. Goals is a method that creates goals which are:

  • Specific,
  • Measurable,
  • Attainable,
  • Relevant,
  • Time-based

A goal is any objective that a person sets for themselves and pushes to achieve. S.M.A.R.T. Goals are used by professionals when designing a treatment plan, in order to make the plan easily achievable.
