The required 25 hours of continuing education contact hours for licensure renewal may be earned as follows from NASW or ASWB:
Rule 2(l) A maximum of 10 continuing education contact hours may be earned for participation in a workshop dealing with patient care issues offered by a health care organization or professional organization that falls outside the accepted methods of approval that have been adopted by the board.
