Amphetamines are stimulant drugs commonly referred to as "uppers." These substances speed up the messages between the brain and body, causing sensations of euphoria and energy.
Some commonly abused amphetamines are Adderall and Ritalin, both available by prescription and used in the treatment of AD/HD.
